High quality gifs with Gifski
Gifs are inefficient and overall just kinda suck. Since Bear doesn't allow mp4s, I'm stuck to using them. I first tried to convert mp4 files to gifs with ffmpeg
, but it always felt like the quality got worse. Luckily I found savior of the day: Gifski
It's super easy to use and create high quality gifs. Example usage:
gifski -o LOL.gif source.mp4
Some parameters I've used (should be pretty self-explanatory):
--fps 30
--height 666
--quality 50
